Trail good but icey from Townsend to Florence cty trails. Laona and north better lubrication. NST grade up. 1 tree in trail between Valley Inn and Wabeno. We got half trail open. Good to know. Actually heading to Watersmeet to ride north for a couple days. Was mainly worried about grade to Valley Inn. We know we will be riding early season conditions at least till we get way north in lake effect snow belt area. I'm sure there are rocks showing here and there a lot of the way...

Can anybody tell me if we can ride from Townsend to Michigan following the railroad grade (NST trails) pretty much straight north over to Iron River and west to Watersmeet / Bergland area. Can anyone tell me if the railroad grade (NST) from Townsend to Long Lake/Tipler area up towards Iron River is rideable at present time? Have 2 new 2016 Renegade X800 with less then a mile on them and don't want to tear up ski's and new 7.5 shaper bars on the gravel to much.. Won't be up til Thursda...

Is rr grade from Townsend to Long Lake open all the way ? Is the swamp area at bridge by Newald do-able for experienced riders ? We will be starting our ride Thursday morning.
