Armstrong Creek Update 1/24

The entire Armstrong Creek section was groomed yesterday and into the early morning . The trail to the south SS1, from Armstrong to Bensen lake rd was groomed yesterday afternoon and rated Excellent . Continuing west and south on the SS6 from the Christmas Tree Inn to Intersection 30 this trail is also rated Excellent. The SS2 from Armstrong to Newald and the NST1 from Hwy O north to Jct 5 are in prime condition as well . Temps are not going to cooperate with grooming this weekend however we will be out Friday and Saturday nights to reel them back in . The recent snow we got (4-6") is heavy and should hold up but the trail needs those temps in the teens to lock up overnight . Please remember you are not the only person using the trails , and expect a rider over every hill and around each corner . Had one rider give my blade a close inspection yesterday , after we both changed our shorts we went about our day .
