The NST2 and SS4 East of the swamp to the NST2 and the North side of SS4 to Club Cavour has been panned twice and is looking good. Be cautious because trees continue to drape over the trails and may be an obstruction when not there today. Remember SS4 from the NST2 to Club Cavour from the south is closed this year because of Logging. SS3 to the swamp by Little Long Lake has been gone through. Logging continues west of Airport Road. The area heading to the swamp is very thick with hanging branches. It was a very slow go. SS5 was also gone through, several trees were down near the intersection with the LMT trail have been cleared. When these trails are open, there is logging going on along Forest Drive and Star Lake Road. These road are plowed and please be aware of logging equipment and log trucks. SS4 west of the swamp has been panned and will be in good condition. Otter Creek Road is still plowed for logging north of Otter Creek. I am trying to maintain a trail route alongside the plowed road. The remaining trail up to the C is looking good. All trails are in early season condition. Stay tuned for further updates.
