Wabeno Midweek Report 02/22/2023

Post by Jim »

About 2”-3” of the light fluffy stuff over the last couple of days, and in anticipation of the “Big One” tonight and into tomorrow (Wednesday 2/22/23 – Thursday 2/23/23), the 100 Mile Snow Safari Wabeno trails: NST-4 / SS-L / SS-3 (from Int-12 to Himley Lake) were packed/panned last night and into the early morning in an effort to try to get the fresh snow to bond with the ice base for traction and to stay ahead of the heavy snowfall that is predicted. Light to moderate snowfall started around 10pm and started to taper off around daybreak. I will be out again tonight. Trails are UNRATED and it is NOT RECOMMENDED to ride until we get this additional snowfall. Please check back later for further updates. Thanks. 🌙🦉
